She wore a crown of paper thorns
White-on-white floral tiaras of poppies, moth orchids and roses, garlands of tea roses and feathers, chaplets and coronets of hydrangeas, chrysanthemums and camelias, and diadems of gerberas and enormous peonies.
9 Detail shots from the Chanel Spring 2009 Haute Couture show depicting a selection of the intricate paper headdresses created by the Japanese hairdresser Katsuya Kamo. 65 headdresses were created out of two reams of standard printer paper by Komo and his tiny team of assistants for the show.
