Roberto Cavalli Pre Spring 2013 collection

We're particularly captivated by this lookbook for Pre Spring 2013, from the forced perspective in the foliage-rich backdrop, to the brilliantly florid and over-the-top baroque prints. I'm so glad Neeve alerted me to it, or I may have missed it altogether!

Meshed champagne ivory cream and pale gold. The Haute Couture shows start in 2 days; I can't help recalling these two particular dresses from the Givenchy S/S HC collection from last season. Apparently, 'The first recorded use of gold as a color name in English was in the year 1400.[1]' (wikipedia)
