Dogon fishing en-masse in Mali
I can only recommend watching this amazing clip with full screen and in HD
Definitely the most fascinating video I've seen on youtube all week; may have missed this incredible spectacle altogether if my little sister hadn't sent me the link. The Dogon people of Mali 'restrict fishing in the sacred Lake Antogo to once a year. On the appointed day, fishermen line up to rush the lake with baskets, clearing the entire lake in moments.'*

An intricate mass of such beaded bubbles of milk, cream and gold encrusted on the surface of a liquid mesh
Meshed champagne ivory cream and pale gold. The Haute Couture shows start in 2 days; I can't help recalling these two particular dresses from the Givenchy S/S HC collection from last season. Apparently, 'The first recorded use of gold as a color name in English was in the year 1400.[1]' (wikipedia)
